"Clearly store staff favor the regulars and their favorite resellers because so many of them stand around with their carts, just talking and blocking bins while waiting for the next rotation, and are never reprimanded. There are other people there trying to shop those exact bins you are blocking. And to the worker who "politely", yet rudely told me to wait my turn for the new bins as I didn't "wait" in the proper lineup (I was still shopping bins a few aisles down) and because I didn't want to be run over by other shoppers, can you tell me where it says we have to wait in line to shop the new bins? I didn't even come to the new bins immediately, it was after a few minutes already when the others already rummaged through them. I feel like she just wanted to be superior in her position and tell others what to do. I hardly come due to the rude treatment of staff and other shoppers. Whatever store rules that are currently in place, it needs to be re-evaluated."
"People leaving reviews saying this place is horrible don’t understand that it’s the goodwill bins. You should not expect a normal goodwill store or the comparison of a target. There are a few bins out there that are organized and “clean” but that’s rare to find. The goodwill bins offer an awesome opportunity to find great find for super cheap. The reason it is so cheap is because it’s not organized or CLEAN. I recommend to always wear gloves and wash your hands after. But I have never had a bad experience with the clothes/items here or the employees. If you are kind to other people there, including the workers, they are kind back. I recommend this place to anyone who loves a good thrift (that isn’t super expensive)."
"Really disappointed in this place. There was a recalled baby item on the floor(Fisher Price Rock n Play) that was recalled for multiple deaths. I brought it to the front and made them aware. They brought it to the back and I thought that was the end of it - they would responsibly get rid of it. But no - the next set of new bins that came out, there it was. Exact same one back on the floor AFTER being aware they have been responsible for multiple infant fatalities. I’ve made reports and documented the incident. Incredibly disappointing."
"You have to search the bins for your bargains. Stuff comes from lots of Wisconsin goodwill stores so the selection is quite vast. It is the regional sorting station. Lately they are sorting the incoming donations and selling the cream on line so your opportunities are now limited. They recently increase prices 20% which is not well received by regular shoppers but it still holds some great values in used products as well as new stuff removed from stores."

"I don’t get the bad reviews. I think they didn’t get the concept. This is a by the pound goodwill. You dig through it, you get mega bargains. I love it and am grateful Madison finally got one. It’s clean, nice bathrooms, nice staff. The bins can be dirty so wear gloves. Fill up your cart to pay even less."
"First let me say that I'm into thrifting, so I am aware of roughly what things should cost. Something is either wrong with the pricing structure, or their weighing is off, or something at this Goodwill Outlet Store. It is sorted into a few areas (Toys, Books, Clothes, Misc), but everything apparently costs the same regardless? [edit: It's around $2.50/lb, which is pricey compared to the $0.60/lb for similarly "sorted/unsorted" junk at Dig'N'Save.] I brought a pile of not particularly heavy junk to the register, and it registered as 17lbs, and thus $40. Looking at the couple shirts, rubber dinosaur, a Rolodex from 1982, and a grungy Rubbermaid tub... It felt expensive. Very expensive. It felt like being at the most expensive garage sale I've ever been to. I find Dig'n'Save to be much more fairly priced overall, and significantly more interesting finds as well. I can imagine coming here again, but infrequently, and I think I'll just have to be very selective about what, if anything, I get here."
"It's worth trying once, but it was a bit overwhelming compared to a traditional Goodwill experience. On average, I don't think this was any cheaper but it was definitely more chaotic. This is more for the hardcore thrifters/flippers who are willing to sift through 100s/1000s of items for a hidden gem. With that said, they had good parking and it would be hard to walk out without finding at least one cool item. There is seating inside if you are one to wait for the bins to flip. It's clean, all things considered, although I'd still wear gloves if I went back."
"Way overpriced! Almost twice what you will pay at St Vinny's Dig and Save. I went to Dig and Save, bought an entire shopping cart full of items for $20. Then I went to Goodwill's outlet. A coat, a bag, and a sweatshirt for almost $40. When I got home I noticed the tags were still on the items. They charged more per pound than the items were originally listed for. I will never go back!"

"Love the bins and the accessibility to have things weighed by the pound! But BEWARE, 20-something-year-olds with their depop businesses hang around the bins like weirdos! They will stand and guard the bins from others, they’re playing with toys while waiting for the new bins; just overall, a bunch of white boys harrassing and making it uncomfortable with everyone else just tryna shop. Wish they would do something about it!"
"If you’re looking for a shopping adventure, the Goodwill Outlet is where it’s at! Watching the energy as the bins are rolled out is something else – it’s like a modern-day gold rush. The younger crowd swarms in with excitement, ready to dive for hidden gems. It’s chaotic in the best way, but there’s a method to the madness. I’ve found incredible deals and unique items you won’t see anywhere else. The thrill of the hunt keeps me coming back. Plus, the staff keeps everything moving smoothly, even with all the action. Pro tip: come ready to dig, and you might just leave with treasures you didn’t know you wanted."
"GROUPS OF GUYS CROWD THE BINS WAITING FOR FRESH ONES TO COME OUT 15-20 young kids constantly. Makes the shopping experience hard there. They always run to fresh bins. The manage should address this kind of crowd behavior effectively to ensure that all customers can shop without feeling harassed or crowded out. Perhaps it would be beneficial for the management to implement some ground rules or establish a better system for the retrieval of fresh items, making sure that it doesn’t inconvenience regular shoppers."
"Great finds - amazing price point. Honestly the staff is always around and helpful. You dig through bins to find stuff. It’s organized by mixed sizes clothes - books / movies - hardlines which is like toys, household goods etc."

"I like the Goodwill outlet but it is a lot of work to go through so many bins!!! I usually end up with a painful elbow from moving so many items! You really can't just look from the top! Everything is sold by the pound, so lite weight items are the very reasonable! I often find fabric my church uses for charity quilting! It's all items that didn't sell at the regular Goodwill stores or things they choose not to sell there. There are lots of ebay sellers there so can be a little crowded! It been very messy lately. They have people to pick up items off the floor but it's a never ending job. The bins are filled to full!!"
"Update 4/3/19 With the hopes of the store "getting more organized" not even close. Recently went to the outlet a few days ago, probably stayed a good hour and a half and they kept rotating bins every 15mins....while I was there; they rotated bins 5 times. They got rid of the section with glass cup/dishes, electronic and furniture. Alot of clothes and shoe bins. I don't mind digging for a bargain but not if I have to move heavy electronic or items that are stringed around multiple items. Definitely bring gloves, alot of broken glasses, trash and untapped knifes. Also I noticed when looking through the bins and during rotation they aren't actually cleaning/rotating products, they are just putting more stuff on top of the old stuff. Makes it harder to actually go through the bins. Which sounds crazy but I honestly think so because I went there two days in a row and noticed certain items on the bottom of the bin and "newer" products on top. Yes, I understand there are multiple items that are the same but the bins I saw look no different. A lot of regular, who often get a little excited digging through bins and throw things in other bins rather your looking at the same bin or not. I don't have a problem with them but if your the type of person that is just casually looking I'd stay away until they leave that bin. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I've been to this location at least 3 times and found some pretty decent deals. The only thing I hope for (in time) to be a little bit more organized. The books, shoes, DVDs, CDs, video games are already in coordinating bins and glassware are on shelves. Put men clothes together, womans clothes together, children clothes together, crafts, board games, toys, housewear, kitchen, tools, seasonal and so on. Yes I understand its and outlet but still I don't want to spending all day digging through clothes that are all mixed together. Bins rotate every 20 to 30 minutes. Bring gloves because in a few bins there was broken glass or knives."
"Excellent place to rummage & sift through an abundance of clothing of all sizes, brands, & trends from infant to plus size adults. Perfect for those that resell on online platforms like Ebay etc. Everything is weighed by the pound not individual prices. You will walk away with a stuffed cartful of quality clothing for dirt cheap. They also have bins of shoes, books, dvds, cds, purses, & misc items. Plan on spending at least 3 or 4 hours here. I profitted so well by reselling the clothing from here, after a year I bought myself 2 Harleys and a few other nice investments. Definitely worth it! You just have to dig the bins to find nice ass name brand items."
"This location in Racine as currently gotten a lot worse with the amount of clothing pile of the searching capabilities. It was a change corporate made to pass more things through. The amount of clothing that ends up on the floor is just swept up and tossed. The other change corporate made was the pound limit. In order to get a discount you need to have over 50 lbs of clothing. As you can see from the piles, it gets so completely tall that you can't even see over to the next aisles. The clothing falls onto the floor, and the clothing falls into the shoes it makes it very difficult to even want to dig through massive amounts of clothing it's a lot to move. Because the bins are piled so completely high, it's actually difficult to move the closing because the majority of it is pushed from one bin to another bin by everyone else digging. The other unfortunate events that occur are the dumbing and may subject to unwanted items from patrons digging the bins into all of the bins. An example people collect shoes as soon as the bins come out they searched the bins throw them in their cart decide later they don't want the shoes in Mass quantity and dump them in multiple other bins including clothing or Electronics or purses. Just remember, when you're donating to Goodwill, it's supposed to go to a good cause. The amount of clothing they are throwing away after it lands on the floor is probably not your idea of helping someone."
