"Price is $1.59 per pound. Please tell me how these flip-flops are almost 1 pound. Come on Goodwill. Why are you duping and lying to people. When I question the employees at checkout, they give grand attitude because they knew the weight was off, which means it's wrong for everything. They seem to care less. So I took them out and they weighed them again. Now they are .60 (6oz.) I know they weighed about 4 oz, not 6 oz. Based on the receipt now I'm charged .95 for 6 oz. Their Math Ain't Mathing! $1.59 per pound. 1 lb = 16 oz. $1.59 ÷ 16 = .099 6oz x .09 = .54 (54 cents) Should have been 54 cents not 95 cents. I said the scale needs to be recalibrated and the cart weighed again. They just looked at me sideways. The couple behind me said, no way those (flip flops) are almost a pound. They also shared how they challenged the Berry Hill Goodwill Outlet regarding the same issues. Said they brought their own scale and proved the calculation was wrong, but of course GW wouldn't change it. Shame on you Goodwill for continuing to scam, lie, dupe and overcharge customers for items that people donate free in the spirit of giving. GW has long abandoned their mission. I have yet to see evidence of Goodwill enrichment in the community. I almost feel like Goodwill is a huge money making scam. Research how much Goodwill pays employees with a disability. Who is really benefitting from their sales?"
"Well I must admit I have been to every goodwill outlet In every state I have traveled through and this one is in my top 2. Honestly it’s tight between number 1 and 2. I have found so much great stuff at this Cockrill Bend location. I am always dressed better than most and so is my family members all because of this store. Then on top of that I have made good money selling some of my treasures I have found here. It’s a good sized Outlet store and they are very consistently changing the tables out bringing out fresh items on a constant basis basically. Great selection to dig through and it’s my absolute favorite store to visit in the entire Nashville area. If you haven’t been then absolutely GO! It’s a fun and exciting experience and $1.89 a pound isn’t that much. Do you have any idea how much stuff you can get at that rate? It’s an awesome experience and kudos to the staff!! They are hard and good workers! Thanks y’all!"
"A Hidden Gem in Nashville! My wife and I absolutely love the Goodwill Outlet in Nashville! Every visit feels like a treasure hunt — you never know what amazing finds you’ll walk away with. From clothes and books to all kinds of unique items, there’s always something that catches our eye. The prices are unbeatable, and it’s a great place to stock up on quality pieces without breaking the bank. We've found everything from gently used name-brand clothing to great reads and quirky home items. It’s fun, affordable, and surprisingly addictive! If you enjoy thrifting or love the thrill of discovery, this place is a must."
"I was upset with the management here out of frustration. No one is making me retract my previous review. I wanted the head manager fired based on bad information. I had a very professional talk with Xristian ,Jordan and George the management staff here and Sybil is one of the managers also. They addressed all of my issues and they were right. If anyone is frustrated with the outlet the stores have great merchandise I went the last 4 days and found stereos , shoes , jerseys and games. They have to keep programs going. Some of my friends have benefited and even my stepson. I sometimes forget and let my emotions override logic. This store is always clean. The bathrooms are always immaculate. Air is cold in these humid days and they treat us well. Some of us are just old spoiled shoppers. Things change not always the way we want but as long as they still respect the customer and they do then I’m fine with that. I respect all truth and teamwork and this store has both."
