"Today was my first time inside of this Goodwill Outlet Store, and there were crowds of people at the bins (it is expected because the purposes of Goodwill Outlet stores AKA “The bins” is that many Goodwill stores get rid of items that haven’t sold at their stores and give them to the outlet stores for people to rummage and dig through before the stuff gets recycled or thrown away), but I bought a bunch of cool stuff such as small blankets for my stuffed animals and a bunch of books. Everything is weighed by the pound. Just ask the staff for help. *****It is highly recommended that you bring large bags for the stuff that you buy and at least have someone go with you so that your cart doesn’t get taken away.*****"
"This Goodwill Outlet is one of the nicest and best run locations I’ve been to. The facility is clean, well maintained, and has great amenities like a big parking lot, nice bathrooms, a cafe, and water fountains/vending. New bins are brought out regularly and switched consistently, which keeps things moving and fair. What really sets this location apart is the crew. Everyone here is hardworking, friendly, and welcoming. Rob and Reesce have done a great job managing the store, and it shows in how smoothly everything runs. The cashiers and floor crew are some of the nicest people I’ve met, they truly make this place feel welcoming. It can get busy at times, but compared to other bins locations, this one is refreshingly drama free. Shoppers are respectful, helpful, and patient with each other. If you take your time and look closely, there are some great finds to be had here. Highly recommend this location."
"I’ve been here a few times for clothing, but I’m done. My low rating and reasons I won’t return are 1) the higher price/lb compared to other places, and 2) they round up to the pound. If you’re purchasing many items then the rounding doesn’t matter as much/isn’t obvious, but if buying 1-2 lightweight items, it just feels wrong. I’d suggest they invest in a regular scale capable of decimal points for when there are fewer or lighter items (as it is, for even 1 item , you place it in a cart and roll it on the big scale). The costs had always seemed too high, but buying one lightweight item today really confirmed the setup here needs improvement. I’ll stick to another store where I pay half or less of what things cost here, and it is fair - the cost is based on true weight."
"Goodwill bins are always hit or miss depending on what you find. You can’t go in expecting to find every item you’re looking for. They have everything from clothes, appliances, toys, books etc. A row of bins is usually restocked around every 45 minutes to an hour which definitely seems longer compared to the Goodwill Outlet Store up in Dayton. It was somewhat crowded when we went in the middle of the day, but not terrible. I’d recommend bringing a pair of gloves to avoid touching anything dirty."
