"If you adjust your mask in any way so that your entire nose and mouth arent entirely covered you will be kicked out. Even if there is only one other shopper in the store more than 20feet away. The women working here will call you out in the front of the store too, so be prepared. The signs in front just say that masks must be worn. No where does it inform you that the mask must cover from your eyes to your chin. If you tend to fidget with your mask, avoid this trip so as not to be made a spectacle of in public. Don't bring the kids!!!"

"It's a big warehouse. It is clean. The employees are nice and helpful. All the clothes are $2.00. The clothes are clean and pressed. They have some shoes and purses. Those are individually priced. They have a good clean parking lot. They have handicap spaces and a ramp leading to the door. No public restrooms."

"If you want good clothes cheap, this is the place. Every thing in here is 2 bucks a piece. Perfect for the kids doing cosplay! Its not reject stuff either. Be prepared to dig a little... but well worth it."

Carlton Davis

"Visited this location this morning (8/11/25), my wife and myself, and it was the worst experience we have seen from an employee at this location. We walked in and said good morning to the lady(employee) and to our surprise she just rolled her eyes and said nothing. We overlooked that and went shop for jeans. I also purchased 3 caps for myself. At checkout don't you know that this lady rolled her eyes again when my wife asked her a question. I looked at my wife and gave her the "don't say anything look" because we don't entertain that type of disrespect in a business place. We paid for our items and walked out without saying anything to the lady. So she probably don't know that we were going to rate her service on the website. Very disrespectful!!!"

"Location is huge, there's a regular Retail store like the ones around the parishes that the items are already priced, but then there's a Outlet store that the items are priced by the pound in bins which the items bins in them are changed out during the day."

"The store is very clean and well kept but the customer service sucks the lady at checkout was so rude had earbuds in and looked Inconvenienced by customers & questions I also tried calling the store 2 times no answer. There was a line of people waiting at checkout and the employees were just yapping… and then i wanted to buy a book but it didn’t have a tag on it and she tossed it to the side and said” I can’t scan it” smh it’s just a book bfr … you can’t simply put a price on it ? So I took a picture of the book guess I’ll have to buy it online for more 🫩 ( the lady in Kris S. Pic) pls work on your customer service"

"The outlet section is weighted by the pound if you sort your own stuff. Delores gave me the rundown of how it works. Lots of cool stuff in there."

"Never will attend their classes again the teacher was very unprofessional with understanding and having compassion towards other students talking about me he them preceded to poke the bear and im pregnant he forced me to go back and forth with him by disrespecting me he them started to record me without my consent as if he was told to do it to save himself from any consequences he even tried to force me out of class and involved the entrie staff . He played victim when I was the victim he set back and let other student talk about me for no reason and wouldn’t help me understand why I was being talked about and not the class assignment him and the students are playing innocent to save themselves after forcing me to defend myself I was put out of the program without being able to explain what happened to me. I was told I can come back the next day then another staff member told me I can’t come back. I never want to be apart of the program again I was treated unfairly and my concerns was not expressed to the director and I really thought she was more understanding than that . The class should’ve been doing class work instead of describing me and how many kids I have and then some I don’t understand why I was being talked about it left me emotional and I didn’t want to talk but I didn’t yell I said nicely I can’t talk right now can we please discuss why after class and he attacked me. The director didn’t hear my side leaving my review to get justice the teacher should be relieved of his duty there for being unprofessional hostile and recording without my consent. I also made sure I made it to class Despite all my obstacles and now I can’t graduate but there’s ppl who missed days after they said we can’t miss days who still will be graduating and I can’t all because of messy students and staff. I was the most focused I never spoke out of turn I never disrespected anyone there I made sure I followed all directions I don’t appreciate how I was treated at all. He caused a big scene and was talking Trash to me when all he had to Do was say we can talk after class and im sorry you’re upset . That’s all . Obviously he has no self control . I promise I was not trying to argue this man basically made me defend myself it was so weird he wouldn’t leave me alone then started recording me after he made me very upset to make it seem like he was right he acted like a messy female I swear I never seen anything like it he got loud and called everyone in the room ans kept yelling you need to get out now ! All because I said you CANT get mad I don’t want to talk right now I feel like the class was no longer get my team mates not talking about me i came here to learn and work not be messy and talked about like children. He allowed those girls to talk about me and be off subject then after he told them “let’s not play everybody don’t feel Like playing…” like it was funny, they kept talking saying smart comments talking over him and I said nothing I ignored all Of it !!! I don’t see what we was playing about how is mentioning someone and their business playing ????? Then they said the girl that help miss Nicole and said she think she dress nice and be having heels on they was clearly trying to bully me!"

"Just left the goodwill by the pound location. It's located behind the main Goodwill store. The cashier was sitting down we asked her when will they bring out more products and she said in a little bit but she just went back to sit down. Not sure how they rotate items here but she just seemed a little lazy. Also they had a basket full of shoes behind the register that they were holding for someone. The bins were not full either. We were ready to spend money"

Dave Wears

"Extremely small outlet compared to other cities. The old stuff in the bins are not taken out and replaced with new items. There is junk on top of junk. The employees allow certain people they know to go in the back room to look and take items before everyone else. They keep the good stuff for when their friends come so they can give it to them instead of just putting everything out at once like they are suppose to. They have no rules. People go crazy over clothes and shoes. They also do not let you buy pallets of items to look through like other Goodwills I’ve been to. This place is not as good as it use to be. People walk in and walk out because they put nothing good out. Keep allowing employees to show favoritism and allowing certain people privileges there will be no more customers. This outlet is the worst and smallest I’ve ever been too."

Sherry Cherry

"One of my fav spots the by the lb store!!:)"

Elvi Flores

"All the good clothes are sold for double the price, and besides, you can't find anything good. The manager of the Lafayette stores gives them to her sister who sells them at the Jockey Lot in Carencro"

"I find some of the reviews on this place a bit odd. This is a Goodwill outlet bins store. It's supposed to be unorganized, and you dig through it. Items are bought by the pound and it's a great way to find stuff super cheap. The more poundage of items you buy, the cheaper it is per pound. Books are super cheap and great for picking up odd and end children's books. Overall, I recommend people try this one out and see if they like it. The only thing I would suggest is bring gloves."

Sarah Smith

"I’m really disappointed in this outlet and the services the job center provides. I’ve always donated items to the Goodwill, but after my experience with their services and their outlet store I am very reluctant to donate with this organization again. I walked into the outlet for the 1st time yesterday and felt a sense of grief. Where is the pride and care? Is it because of the location or is it because it was near closing time? I don’t know. What I do know is, outlet or no outlet, bins or no bins, sold by the pound or not, I felt like I walked into a landfill instead of a place that provides helpful goods and services. I bet I could put on gloves and dig through a homeless person’s shopping cart and get better results. Organizational management, having a sense of pride and genuine care and concern for others would not allow someone to think the way things are at this location is acceptable. Very disappointed customer!"

Megan Morris

"I shop here (usually weekly) for my small business inventory. You pay by the pound and the price decreases per pound at different increments. So, the more you buy the cheaper it is. It's great for resellers like me. I always find some really nice and profitable stuff."

Tiffany

"Haven't been here yet. Posting 5 stars to offset the bad reviews based on the merchandise being in bins/tables instead of hung up. It IS SUPPOSED to be that way. This is a liquidation center not a retail store. That's why the very best bargains are at the outlet/pay by the pound locations."
