"You never know what you're going to find there, but since they sell everything by the pound, you can get a lot for a good price. The Outlets are definitely not like your typical thrift store experience, tho. There are no racks with clothing hung up or shelves with items on display. Everything is brought out on tables, and when they bring out new ones, they have everybody stand back so that the employees don't get trampled. It's actually kind of like shopping while in a mosh pit lol. I mean that in a good way. It's just that sometimes the customers can get a little aggressive when picking thru the bins. It is recommended to wear gloves if you plan on digging in, and prepare to enjoy the controlled chaos that is the Goodwill Outlet World. Definitely recommend."
"I love me a goodwill outlet. This is the smallest of the denver outlets. This location has different prices for different types of items, so make it easier on the people behind you in line, and sort your items before you get up to the scales. One side of the warehouse is textiles, the other is hard goods, shoes, purses, etc. You do have to stand behind the line when they rotate the bins, and recently they have been making everyone stop shopping when the rotations occur. I used to rotate visiting this one with the Denver location, but this location has been lack-luster for me in the recent months so I stopped going. Might need to revisit."
"Don’t come here. You will get bullied by the security guard if you go over “time allotted” even if you’re going though OLD bins and the employees will curse you in a different language. The place is huge. Before covid, there would be over 60 plus, YES 60 PLUS bins out that you could look though and they would rotate new bins in, and push the old bins to the back so people like me, could take their sweet time just shopping. Now, there are only 6 bins out at one time AND EVERYONE has like 10 minutes to go though the bins, then some big jerk comes by and bullies you off the bins. So 60 bins minus 6 bins equals 54 bins that are nowhere to be found. The big building is full of people, but empty of bins, it’s just all bare floor. The amount of people that show up has not changed, but now every single person there has to fight for 6 bins, for 10-15 minutes, take too long and a man will come lay hands on you and assault you. Then, they take all the bins back, leave the same clothes underneath and they just throw a few new pieces on top of the old clothes they just made people fight over. Now, in in these 6 bins, 2bins are clothes, 2 are electronics, and 2 is just trash. This place sucks now. And it upsets me because before, you were allowed to go though hundreds of bins without out being cursed or assaulted by the staff. Now, there are only 6 bins that EVERYONE has to fight for with only 15 minutes of searching followed by threats. Guess goodwilll would rather toss all this clothes in the ocean, rather than let us buy it. Don’t go here. Hopefully someday they will go back to the way they did it for years and hopefully they stop assaulting the customers."
"I used to love this place. Something changed. Either new owners or new management. Less than half the bins out than before. They turn them over faster because I started timing them. Much much more crowded because there are fewer buns to look through. Workers not paying attention as customers just dump open puzzles and games and smash glass. Someone is going through these bins before they are wheeled out because it is all just broken trash now. Not worth it. Absolutely nothing metal anymore so at least those goblins smashing things looking for metal to recycle aren't there anymore. Housewares are gone now too."

"The place is a mess it's just bins full of clothes that didn't get bought or are stained or ripped or something is wrong. Nothing is organized so you just have to dig through it which feels dirty. There are some good deals if they're running specials but for example one mirror that I brought up that I was thinking about buying had no price on it and they weighed it and they wanted like $20 for it when I saw a similar mirror in the store for $5.99 just the week before. So hit or miss if they have a special then it might be worth it but it's not worth it for me to dig through those bins and I'm certainly not paying $20 by weight for a mirror that is $6 at the store."
"Since it's the outlet store, everything is in big blue bins and mixed up together. Most things are priced by the pound and it's like a treasure hunt. I found 2 pairs of barefoot shoes, never worn and Jackie vionic shoes, never worn. It was 4 ponds total and $7.00. It was our second Goodwill as we were looking for an entertainment center. He found one with glass doors for $7.00. Had some scratches but it had less scratches than the one we saw at the first Goodwill for 20.00. Everything will need to be washed down before bringing it into the house, we'll, because you never know. But there were definitely great finds. The staff were very helpful and kind too."
"Dear Goodwill Outlet and Donation Center. 2855 S Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80916 Today 12/15/2025, Most customers are upset about some of the workers. The workers are very rude to customers and yell at them even when they are walking, shopping, and looking at items. The donor is donating to Goodwill in support of its mission to provide employment opportunities. But how does Goodwill utilize workers who do not know how to interact politely with customers and explain their intentions? You can view the camera at 5:25 PM. I'd rather not touch anything; I stand and look, but the worker kicks me out. I feel upset with the workers who are not helping customers. But he was vulgar to me. Goodwill should strive to make customers happy during their shopping experience and remain true to its mission. Did Goodwill workers help customers or treat them rudely? Thank you. Pastor BUNHAP HAT"
"I give this place 10 stars! It’s a great spot for beginner resellers. The prices are incredibly low, and if you take your time and look carefully, you can always find treasures that resell for good profit. This outlet has specific rules, so I highly recommend asking the employees about them. Knowing the rules will help you shop without stress. Bring your own bag—there aren’t enough carts for everyone. I’ve shopped here for several years and have seen how hard the employees work, so please be respectful. If you’re expecting high-end boutique-style service, this isn’t the place for you. It’s fast-paced and can feel tough for some people. But if you read the rules, stay patient, and search carefully, you’ll definitely find treasure! 🤑"

"If you like organization in your thrift shopping, you know, clothes on hangers, arranged by size or type,... then don't go here. These are all in bins and you gotta grab it before someone else does. Stock seems to rotate every 20 minutes so there's always something else coming out. Kinda like "competitive thrifting" It is quite fun if you don't mind digging thru bins. Bring some gloves and a chair(not kidding). I was able to get 3 mens shirts, 2 womens pants, a belt and a hat for 12 bucks. Clothing is sold per pound. Check it out,... it's pretty cool.. a little hectic but you can find some good stuff if youre part ninja."
"Gets crowded and you have to dig through bins of items. It's at by the pound. They also have a clothing and linens department. Some bikes and household furniture. It is also hard to find a cart and you have to put items you wish to purchase along walls to free your hands to dig."
"Great deal for everything! All goods are priced by the pound. The warehouse is split into two sides: clothes and other goods (shoes, electronics, toys, etc.). It does feel dirty as none of the goods are cleaned before they are put in the bins. There's just some dust and dirt. I would suggest bringing a trash bag to put your items in at the end. Also, if you don't want to get your hands dirty, bring plastic gloves. With all this said, there's definitely quality clothes here. You just have to be willing to take the time to look for them."
"Staff are very friendly and efficient! They do rotations smoothly and quickly. There is no AC, so it’s very hot at this location. BRING LOTS OF WATER! There is no WiFi service and literally 0 data service, so be prepared to not have any service while here . I think there should be WiFi for shopping customers and am not sure why they don’t have it. All the other Goodwill Outlets do. Bathrooms are clean and location is clean."

"According to the older 80s haired clerk you now need to separate everything at the register in addition to the kitchenware and linens and books. So even though the rest is the same price per pound, she wants them separate. She lied and said this system has been in place since this summer. She lied and said there is a sign on the door saying this. There are posters in the wall stating what the price per pound is. There is a sign hanging from the ceiling saying that you need to put the books on the counter. Nothing says you need to separate every category within the 1.89 price point. She jabs at the counter to point at a list of each different sub category but this sign does not say they need to be charged separately. She also goes through everything and argues that a blanket or sheet is linens. This makes the time at the register so long and tedious and poi The rules need to be updated and posted so the clerks can't make stuff up on the fly. These weren't the rules last month. Before that there was a clerk yelling at everyone in line to pull their stuffed animals out of their bags and he weighed them separately. Only one person at the register and a long line and she is making up ridiculous rules on the spot. I can't wait til a new place opens because this one sucks. The employees here are on power trips. While I was in line I heard them yelling at everyone to leave the bins and go back behind the line because they saw one guy run. Y'all aren't PE teachers. They do turn over the bins too quickly while people are still looking. Maybe some of them can man the registers and get people through the line quicker."
"Probably the worst bins in the Colorado area. The stuff isn’t the best it seems like they have employees take out what they want first. The checkout is the worst and is so long because they take out your stuff and rearrange the categories that aren’t even on the board!! At the point you don’t even know what you’re paying for. The employee named Juliana or whatever had her grubby hands take my shoes out of the cart and told me it was $1.89 per pound… okay it was with the clothes why are you being sketchy and taking them out just to charge them separately for no reason? Employees are snarky and bad vibes and negative energy all day long. Don’t go to this bins… just a waste of time. I recommend the Denver or any other one would be better than this one. Overrall this outlet is sketchy and annoying, won’t be going there anymore 🫣"
"This was our first time in the outlet. Pleased with the organization and timing of new merchandise. Bring gloves to dive in and friends to help find treasures and hold down the fort. Walked out with a blanket, a book, and a dress shirt for less than $2. Can't wait to go back."
"I LOVE Goodwill Outlets, but this is my least favorite location in the Denver area. It is SO DIRTY in here. Does management not walk in and see the dust covering all the walls and ceiling? Does management not see the disgusting bathrooms? The floors looked like they haven't been cleaned since 2019. It is by far the worst location ranging from cleanliness, staff, other customers and how crowded it is. I know the standards aren't high and I don't expect much, but it seems the staff doesn't clean at all."
