"I enjoyed my time in this outlet. It was mine and my moms first time going to a goodwill outlet. I’d have to say it was fun. I was there from 2-4pm digging through bins, overall we left with a total of 50-55 things, we lost count. We paid $16 something for everything. We favorite finds from today are a cool horoscope tapestry, Tory Burch pants, gap jacket, banana republic pants/skirts, Express jeans, some 7 jeans, linen jacket/ shirts , some curtains, and a chaps wool suit set. Not everything fits people in my family, bummer. But it was worth paying for to take home. I’d be interested in going to an outlet that mainly has shoes, idk if goodwill has that. The security was kind, workers didn’t say much, they just looked well worked& the workers pushing the bins away were polite. I recall a lady that asked me if I already looked through the wall bins a couple times before pulling them away, I appreciated that. Mom and I took care of some Christmas shopping. I have some give aways for some friends. I am sure I will soon become a regular. I am usually at swap meet weekly looking for some nice clothing finds, goodwill outlet might be better. I think it would be advisable to get there right at 12:30 to get better pickings, I personal wouldn’t pay $1 per item in the mornings, I enjoy treasure hunting."
"My Mom and I love to come here. I started going to a "bin" store in Oklahoma city while living there for the last couple years and when I moved back home this summer i couldn't wait to take my Mom to the bins here in San Diego (San yisdro) and show her how much fun it is. I was sad when I found out that things are a bit different here like there is three bin stores in San Diego county and each handles different types of donations. So San Yisdro has clothing and linens only but we find so many good items for a good deal. You can do a auction buy earlier in the mornings for a pallet of clothing but I haven't done that yet or in between 10:30am and 1pm you can buy clothing and shoes by the pound. I am still learning this store but what I am understanding is 35lbs and under is $22. Then 35lbs and up to 60 is $35. Shoes are $2 a pound. I might be wrong so check with a employee first before buying. We went two weeks ago and found a abundance of stuff in great or new condition. This morning when we went it was mostly poor condition and most should probably just be trashed. So it is different every time you go which makes it fun. Every time I go I can find stuff though you just have to dig to the bottom of the bin. I also shop for my family and not just me but I usually can find one thing for everyone. Have 😊 fun"
"They are super unprofessional The personnel in this goodwill is super rude. There is posters with the price all over the store and when I went to pay my items the cashier said the price was different. I spent over 3 hours looking for items and not once did they announce or post anywhere that their prices had changed. I used to always go to the goodwill outlet located in Escondido and they have never treated me poorly like they have here. The supposed “manager” don’t know his name but wears glasses doesn’t even know the price of the items he was trying to overcharge me a first time when the store first opened and one of the higher ups had to step in and give me the right prices. I don’t recommend this place, it is horrible and not because of what they sell but because of their employees."
"Overall the people were nice. It was my first time there and I got scolded about going into a bin that was not assigned to me but I apologized for not knowing the rules. Unfortunately later they said nothing to people that kept dipping into my bin before I left and moved a new one. They don’t charge by the pound but anything 1-35 pounds is about $25-29. Shoes are charged separately. And from opening- 10 am is first sale; items are sold by the piece and if you find a designer label they charge more. And you can’t stay until 11 am when they start charging more by the pound. So if you only get 20 pounds you will still be paying the set amount of $25-29 as it is 1-35 pounds for minimum purchase. So beware and prepare to get at least 35 pounds so that you get more bang for your buck. FYI: they do have public bathrooms."
