"The retail area is different than other Goodwill outlets . The for sale items are placed in boat like shaped tubs and you dig through them . It's not a hanger and shelf type traditional looking store. This seems to be more of a donation ,sorting and distribution center operation vs retail from what I saw looking through the entrance of the " Employees Only" work area. That said the parking lot is always full and there was a tremendous number of customers going through the boat shaped tubs looking for deals and items. The staff is friendly and helpful. There was a man asleep on the sidewalk propped up against the wall but that is not an uncommon sight anymore in Mobile, Alabama"
"I was in the area, and located this store searching for the bins. I found this experience to be pleasant and staff friendly. There is a system of moving full bins of items methodically through the store. I did note a crowd forming when a new bin was being introduced into the line, but felt it was to be expected, considering the format. Because it was my first experience, I stayed at the older bins in line, but found some really great clothing! I would suggest bringing your own large shopping bag, or the like, as carts seem to be a commodity. I was never able to actually figure out how one would go about obtaining a cart. When you finish shopping, you pile your items on the scale at the front of the store for weighing. Confirm final weight with cashier, and pay. I will be in the area for a few more days and will go back if time permits (shopping bags at the ready)."
"Smaller than the other bins I've been to, but I still found plenty! The staff were all very nice and friendly, too. The only bad thing is that they don't take some of the donated clothes off the old wire hangers so they'll poke you while you're digging and, even worse, they poke and damage the other clothes in the bin, especially the delicate vintage items. I have never seen this at a goodwill outlet before."
"This location is full of bins hat people dig through. It is not very clean and not organized by any recognizable system. It’s a dig and find store."
